What do you think Paul means when he says ´Take your clothes off Adam and Eve!´ at the end of Old. It´s a great image, but I wonder what meaning you read into it.

Simple in my opinion (but maybe I´m wrong :-)) : Adam and Eve were normally naked ! ;-)

I think that it is a little message for us:
return to simplicity, to humility, to naturalness .

Nath, don´t forget the vine leaf always well situated...:-)
About the meaning, i agree with Alain and Old or young, we are only human beings...

The leaf was only there for the Christians not to be shocked because if Adam and Eve were all alone (and lovers ! ;-)), why they should have been so prudish ? :-P

i have always just thought that since the whole song is talking about how Old God is he is making a point about how young we are by pointing out how quickly we can be back to where we came from. it is also a lesson in humility.
