Not Paul Simon related.

(Warning, only visit this page if you are in a good psychical constitution)

Please US citizens, do something against that. Write a letter to your governor, president or local word-wildlife-found.
Proof us that you are better than your image worldwide, proof us that in Texas not only gangster, killers and idiots live.

This is more than abnormal, even in science fiction movies they don´t invente such things.
I wonder what the next step might be - civilians killing people in Iraq online on a internet page?

I have seen a documentation about that yesterday - they torture animals. They are tied on a line, they shoot at them but the animal doesn´t die.

I think/hope your comment is meant zynical bluesmoke.

This is more than shoking. This is abnormal and pervers.

I can´t believe this is allowed.
If this is allowed, why isn´t it allowed for some idiotic us people to kill people in iraq via joystick and mouse? the army could make a lot of money with that, a GI is running trough sadr city with a camera and a laptop, and another idiot in texas pays 15.000$ and give´s commands like ´left...right..ok, press fire"
And the army sends you a
"Thank you patriot" card.

Anything wrong with that?

I think there´s something wrong with my browser...I alwasy post twice.

Anyhow non need to get puffed up. They´re shooting at a target aren´t they? Your parallel with Iraq makes no sense. There is quite a ways between a "sport"( a very very stupid one...) and a war don´t you think? I mean what if instead of shooting at a cardboard box they were throwing tennis balls against tin cups...would that be wrong too?

Like Ivalo, i´m not very surprised...hm, those americans: they allow this "hunt" and in the same time, they forbid (in California) the foie gras for cruality against animals...

What are you talking about? They shoot at living animals from a webbrowser interface.
Could killing a life be more pervers than this way?

This has nothing to do with sports or hunting.

They´re not shooting animals, just paper targets in an outdoor setting.

I think it´s a pretty cool way to use the internet.

IT IS ANIMALS!!

Men, I always thought that I´m the person who can´t read english perfect!

Read this
http://www.live-shot.com/species.shtml

Will you preparate a peace of paper? And where do you get the meat they are talking about, form Mc Donalds??

I didn´t find this homepage by searching trough the internet, it was mentioned in a TV documentation about these pervers things.

They showed us how someone logged in on his computer, a fat white idiot somewhere in the USA.
Then in texas they unloaded a truck with a Wild Hog.
It was on a line, 2 meters long (but the idiot on the computer couldn´t see that, he had a small b+w live video or 300*200 pixels. Then he clicked on the mouse to move the gun left or right, the he hit fire.
He wasn´t allowed to shoot because he only would have wounded the animal because this idiot wanted to shoot into the back of the animal.
He tried again, and fired.
Because there is left some time until you see the picture - hit fire - send the data back to this server, the animal moves a few inches in that time. So it only was wounded. It got hurt and tried to run away, but that wasn´t possible because it was hold on a line. So the animal just jumped around.
Now the person in Texas sitting next to the gun took his own gun and shoot at the animal. Again he didn´t kill it, because it was jumping around he couldn´t hit it.
He had to reload his gun, a long time passed by - and then he killed the animal.

Now the animal will be send to the idiot on the computer.

IT IS NOT A SHEET OF PAPER!
and
IT IS NOT COOL

It is cruelty to animals, because they shoot at them 2 or 3 times.

Visit the site again and see exactly.

Sorry Bodo I only read this bit...

"Currently, shooters will be able to fire 10 (ten) .22 caliber rounds at paper and silhouette targets. You may also have a DVD recording and/or the paper target from the session shipped as an option. Look for additional, varied shooting systems along with competitions to come online soon."

but I can see if you pay more they use real animals which is incredibly poor taste IMO.

It´s not clear at all because they talk about real hunting too in Texas (with those "wild" animals from Africa or Europe. Digusting !)
