 | Just wondering how many of you have kept hold of your Old S&G/PS Vinyl records?Great to hear the surface noise of an LP.....missing from the cold sound of CDs, I think.Simon always said "Vinyl has a smoother quality"...I agree with him. |

 | I have 4, BOTW, Graduate, Graceland, ROTS... but only because of a defect-collection-gen :-)
No, the really good thing about LP´s is that you can´t just skip a track. You have to listen the songs in the order the artists wants you to do.
I have convertet some LP´s to MP3´s. It sounds interesting - I would say that you can capture the feeling of listening to an LP this way. |

 | Kept hold and kept hold, I dunno about that. But, being too late for the vinyl era, I´ve gathered them all again.
I have all the PS studio albums on lp -excepting, of course, the Songbook- I think, and lack some compilations albums. Am looking for the S&G vinyls, I only have Bridge and C.P.C.
There´s just something so appealing about vinyls. |

 | Well, technically you can skip a track, but it takes a bit of practice if you don´t want to scratch the lp all to pieces. ;) |

 | I have all the PS and S&G albums in vinyls til Hearts And Bones but I can´t listen to them anymore as the vinyl player is at my parents´ place 1000 kms from here :-). But I like the covers : much more appealing than the cds ones ! |

 | have S&G Greatest hits on vinyl & cassette tape, my first ever album. I´ve recorded it onto minidisc. So far have resisted buying the CD, but would like to put it on the iPod so maybe.... |

 | I agree with the track order of Lps, Bodo....in the order meant by the artist. Plus there is smoething more to a record than a CD.....better to look at, and because it is so time consuming to play them they are appreciated more. The only downside is the fact they are damaged so much easier than discs....and nowadays harder to replace.I can´t remember buying more than ONE LP at a time, due to the feeling of having bought "something"....yet I often buy 5 to 10 CDs at a time and don´t quite appreciate them as much..Music is TOO affordable and available today to be appreciated as it was in the days when having a collection of 15 LPs was seen as a great collection.IMO. |

 | I am still collecting, need a few more to complete my vinyl collection of PS and S&G. Great to look for them on record and cd fairs. Fortunately we still have a good vinyl player. The covers are great, last year we bought some special made wooden frames that fitt exactly the covers, looks great in our living room. |

 | I Love LPs, and when I finish my CD S&G/PS collection, I plan to finish the collection on LP too. I also have the covers on my wall, istead of posters. |

 | The only roup in which I am complete, vinyl wise, is Gallagher and Lyle.If you like S&G I feel you will enjoy them.Art does "A heart in New York" and"Breakaway" which are their songs.G&L stuff is hard to get hold of these days, even on CD!There are however the greatest hits and such like available but the studio albums.....well, you need to search them out via fairs and dealers. |

 | I´ve got only Bridge(2x)and SG definitive coll., but both covers are remade. Botw has got a cover by some czech artist and SGdC has got english/czech titles:-(.
I like LPs much more than CDs, because of their sound. I Love the rhytmic motion needle and the cracking. The LPs take me to wonderful world, I only lie on the floor and listen to the great music :-)) (It´s great-cool feeling) |

 | It´s pretty hard to find vinyl these days. My family aren´t too much into technologies, we never had vinyls or stuff like that. And I don´t keep the Paul Simon vinyl, but i would like some. |
