 | Miriam, the Long John Baldry story involves the use of an expletive, which I am not prepared to type on a respectable site....However, the story involves Baldry being double booked or booked instead of Simon on his 60s folk tour. When Simon turned up to play and heard Baldry had been booked in his spot he reacted in a "quite colourful" manner. It is in one of the books....It shows Simon´s single mindedness and self belief to the point of ruthlessness. |

 | Well, that´s a relief. I had a friend who played in LJBs backing band at one point, and he said that LJB is not one for the ladies...! I was dreading a Me And Julio story.... |
