Isaw both CP81 DVDs last year in fnac in Paris. again one was "normal" price the usual one we see and the other was cheap. I was told that the 2nd one was Zone 1 only (at least I think so the conversation was in french and we never covered discussing DVD´s when doing french conversations inschool!!).
BTW I have this video I recorded late at night about 10 yrs ago which is about Paul Simon. It was made in the year he married Edie. there are conversations with him, artie eddie, footage through the years and coverage of his concert in SA and dealing with the threat of violence - he did not look comfortable on stage at all!! I had missed the beginning and there were no credits at the end. Is this the" Born At The Right Time "video and is it available on VCR/DVD.? Thanks

Sanne, that guy Art is singing Crying in the Rain with is James Taylor (the clip is from Across America).

Rupert: I know a store in Nijmegen that sells cheap versions of Across America. But you can also find it on the internet, at http://www.themusicsafe.com.

Thank you for the information, Iya. I feel a little bit embrassed that i did not know how James Taylor looks like ;-) i have never seen Across America, because i am not such a great "solo-artie" fan. Is it worth watching?? Today i bought the "Bridge over...."-DVD for 5 euro in our shopping centre. That´s ok, i think :-)
Happy weekend, Sanne

Sanne, I would get the Across America DVD. Also, if you are not familiar with James Taylor, you ought to pick up a few of his albums....esp the early stuff. He is a great guitarist too!.There is also a great James Taylor DVD "Live at the Beacon Theatre" which is worth investing in too. Also, check him out doing The Boxer with Alison Krauss at the Kennedy honours ceremony for Simon.

"Classic Songs" a James Taylor Best Of is a good intro to his stuff, Sanne.
