Thanks Jesse.
Ok, thats really strange or? I mean, why don´t they make _ANY_ advertising when releasing a new DVD?

And on the other hand, this DVD looks cheap made. The style of the cover...oh my god, every bootleg cover looks better ;-)

But the amazon.de rezession sounds nice, live recordings from different concerts and tv appearances. I buy.

Bing your humour in honours. I´m not a skinflint, I´m only realistic.

Thats right scaaty. I really want to know more about this DVD.
The price, the cheap cover design and the strange choice of songs (for example YTO!! on a S&G DVD?) makes me really wonder if Paul and Art have made this track list.

BTW: The amazon search function is really bad, don´t you think?

If i want to search for a S&G DVD I normaly would type
"DVD Simon Garfunkel"

that should work I think...but only brings the Old Friends CD !, the old friends DVD and the CP 81 DVD.

even when I search for
"DVD bridge over troubled"
it has 0 results

only when you search for
"bridge over troubled"
You will find this DVD

A search function where you have to know exactly what you want to find...great :-)

Maybe it´s home made by Paul and Art : they needed some more money after Christmas ;-)

i looked at a store (V&D) for the central park dvd. There wer 2 CP´81 dvd´s whith diferent covers but with the same tracklist. The first one was around 20 euro´s (it is the one i have witch is the ´original´ i think, whith the dark cover) and the other one (white cover)for about 6 euros!!

Yes, it´s weird, isn´t it? I have found at least two versions of CP81 that have different covers and are cheaper. The same goes for Art Garfunkel´s Across America DVD, one expensive original version, and one or two cheaper versions. I don´t know what to think of it really.

Hi there, the DVD you are talking about comes from an canadian label. I have borrowed it last week from our video shop because i wanted to know what it is before i will buy it. At first there are pics from the 2003/2004 tour and then a mix of different clips from CP 81, YTO, Art sings "Cecilia" and "El Condor Pasa" with his wife and "Crying in the Rain" outdoor with a guy i don´t know and a few clips of their early days and Paul and George with "Here comes the Sun". "One man´s ceiling..." is from YTO. All clips are in a mess, i think. Nice DVD, but for me not a "must have DVD".
Greetings from Sanne
