 | As a Paul Simon fanatic, I of course have my favorite Paul Simon songs that I Love to play because of the way it moves me when I play it on guitar.
Some of those songs include Scarborough Fair, Hearts And Bones, For Emily Whenever I may Find Her (on 12 string of course), Me and Julio Down By the School Yard (the rythym is amazing and fun), and believe it or not, Soft Parachutes.
I´d like to hear what other guitarist out there have to say about playing Paul´s music, and why certain songs move them more than others. |

 | Hearts And Bones is a favourite here.. also The only living boy in NY cause the chord changes are so nice and if you play it like simon does (With a capo on the 4 fret and then the chords of G/C and so on) the sound on a twelvestring is amazing. |

 | I don´t have a 12 string, but the only living boy in NY is pleasent to play. (I dthought it was capo 5th, but I could be wrong).
The Boxer, MACR and Think too much B are favourites of mine to play. (Oh, I forgot America :-)).
Especially Think too much B is god to play (I play it capo 2th and chords G/Em.). It sounds nice if you sometimes add a C on the G chord (it becomes a Gsus).
Songs of Graceland are hard to play on one guitar I think, so Graceland songs are not my favourite songs to play on guitar (except crazy Love). |

 | I´m in an acoustic trio band and travel round the midlands in England, and i find that Sound of Silence goes down a treat. i play it with the modified intro like what PS did in Rome (i think) a few years ago. but when i play on my own i tend to go for the harder PS songs to learn, such as armistace day (alt Tuning), Something So Right, and Late great johnny Ace (Whole Tone Down) |

 | All i do is play heh, i Love America, Homeword bound, Scarborough fair, Old Friends, sound of silence(Paulsimon solo tour) hmm The Boxer i love to play, and dangling conversation. These all mopve me the most and i love to sit out in the cold playing scarborough fair, it gives me chills. I really love playing this type of music. I think out of all of these i would say Old Friends mvoes me the most because i love the Bookends theme, its so beutifull, but that is just me.

 | Why don´t we share mp3s of our guitar playing ? I am very curious how you guys all play this stuff. (I play guitar too).
I don´t mean professional recordings, just place the guitar in front of the pc-microphone (or the other way around :o) and record. Entire songs, or just parts of it... whatever.
What do you think ?
I really want to hear Bodo playing Scarborough Fair ! :o)
What do you think Bodo, do you have any webspace left and do you think it´s a good idea ?

 | I´ll programm something... but then I have to make some limitations (because some people [not us, some Trolls around the net) will try to destroy this )
The maximum file size should be 1MB (or 2?), and there can be max. 30 files on the webspace at the same time. |

 | I think 1 mb is too little, 2 or 3 is ok, I think :-). I think it´s good if there can be only one file uploaded by each person.
It´s a good idea :-)! |

 | Yes, 1 file per person is also a good idea, thanks Thomas. |
