 | Hi
I´m thinking of splitting some countries into more different regions. Is that a good idea? England now has 70 entries, thats really a lot, and some regions in the USA have ~ 50 entries.
The only problem I have is that I don´t know which town belongs to which region or state. And I think people will not change their country for themselfe (I´m taking about the Old entries in the fan database)...
Any ideas?
BTW, it becomes a little bit boring here since the last few weeks... hope we really get the new album soon...not in fall 2005 |

 | Hey Bodo, I Maybe you could ask for volunteers from each country to do that for you? I don´t mind sorting out the UK entries for you. I´ll tell you who goes in which region and you can do the rest. Then other volunteers could do the same for their country? |

 | Splitting The Netherlands? ;-) it´already very small....lol.
Although we have 46 entry´s already...
But I could do it, maybe it could be North, Middle and South. We use that in The Netherlands for spreading the holidays.
You´re right, it´s very quiet around Paul these days. |

Switzerland
 | For Switzerland there are only 8 entries. Switzerland is split into 26 different areas, but these areas are so small that it wouldn´t make sense for 8 entries. I could split it into German- / Italian-/ French-Switzerland if you like, Bodo. (But that doesn´t make sense to me either... I just want to offer my help :o) |

 | Funny actually, The Netherlands is with 46 entry´s the third largest country when it comes to PS-fans. We´re doing pretty well for such a small country, i think.
Does anyone has an explanation for this?
BTW Maybe it´s a good idea to split the Netherlands into Friesland and the rest. That is what they want anyway, and i would not mind ;)! |

 | Why would you not mind;-)
Are you against Fries people or are you a Fries citizen who is against the rest.....;-) |

 | LOL....
The english word is Frisian. Originate they are a Germanic nation. They go back to the 7th century, to the Roman. They were a strong and independent nation. They never really agreed that they belong to the Netherlands which they became in 1576. They still speak their own language beside the Dutch language and teach it still in school.
What´s the French story about the Basques? |

 | A very long story : Basques in France are like Basques in Spain (well, almost : maybe less violent)and like Corsicans (those ones are violent !) : they want to be independant. |

 | I like the Frisian part. I live in Groningen (a provence beside "Friesland"), who originally are against the Frisians. I totally disagree, but I don´t like the way they talk to eachother :-).
But to go to the topic, maybe split the Netherlands in north, middle, south. I think that would be the best. Not too big and not too small :-). |
