I have a more something to tell about this photo.
At first, this guitar is not of Simon, but of this young man sitting on the bench. Washburn.
These people are ordinal New Yorkers.
When she and her friends are walking by, they suddenly caught sight of two people: one of them was Paul Simon. Of course, another one was Art. Around them several people were walking. May be, they were taking pictures of S&G. Paul and Art shook hands with this lucky young girl and wrote for her their autographs.
That is all I know about this photo from this Japanese forum.

I wonder why Paul and Art where together?
Maybe too talk about a performance together, we´ll just have too wait and see what will happen, but it´s a good thing that they talk together.
