ok, i Love Paul Simon, his music. hes an awsome guitar player and him and art are great. i bet i liek them better than so many pioeple hat go on this website, but i mean i mgiht not know when he was born or when he got his first guitar, so i think that the whole points thing is totally off. i want to listen to the mp3s but i cant name that kind of stuff. im kindof upset that i cant listen to pauls music, if u were a true paul simon fan, you would let everyone have acess, i love u paul and i love john lennon and paul micartney can go to hell, thank you and have a good night.

"Band in the Run" is a top 20 album of the 70´s...

k-man, I think you have missed the point, why there is not just a section called "mp3´s for download" accessible to everyone on this site.

Søren, 1 little spelling mistake is no problem. (some messages have many more and no capitols, I wonder why I even tried reading it)
And K-man, good news. Pauls music is for sale in every cd store.

I agree; I skimmed it all but didn´t want to strain my eyes with trying to make sense of it.
So, if you don´t know things about Paul - find out! How do you think I did it, just magically was born with the knowledge? No, I just happened to pick up something that I thought was interesting, and might fit into the biography. And it did. It´s not that hard, you know.

And, yes. First of all this isn´t all of Paul´s music. It´s some rarer stuff, and some that´s hard to get by, if I´ve understood it correctly. And Bodo´s probably worked a bit to get his hands on those, so I´m just thankful he´s sharing.
(And, Jos, I hate to prove you one but I know *two* music stores where there´s no Paul music - the two where I live!!)

And... what was the last thing I was going to say? Hum..
Oh, yes! Isn´t it bad enough Art-fans and Paul-fans argue from time to time; are Paul-fans going to hack away at each other too now? How dreary.

My God, where do you live that they do not have Paul Simon cd´s on sale in a music store near you? Excuse me if I seem a little ignorant.
As for accessing fan exclusive sites on here, I look at it as something to work toward and look foward to. I like the fact that it dosen´t just take everyone and you have to prove your loyalty to Paul for it. How many fan sites can say that?!

Listen mikey I´ve been a S&G and PS fan for 30 years, It took me twenty-five of those to get 3 S&G albums and 10 PS albums. In the last 5 yrs I ´ve been well off enough to buy all the rest but it was well worth the wait. So have patience boy!

I understand that you´re (k-man) not able to buy CD´s, I´m not very rich too. But please don´t blame Bodo or someone!!! Because of Bodo we can talk about Paul here in this forum. So buy one CD and give your opinion on this forum :-).

Yeap. And if you really can not or want to pay for it, there are sites and ways to get free mp3´s. Just have a good look around on this forum and elsewhere on the web and I´m sure you´ll find it.
You will not be the only one who will have Paul´s music not complete or on original cd.
Bodo had a good reason for putting music behind a password and we should respect that. I can´t get there and I don´t like it either, but as I said there are other ways.

Isa - it´s quite horrible, if you ask me. They´ve got *one* S&G-cd in stock (in one of the shops) and that´s the Essential S&G-one.
They also have Paul Simon: The Collection but that´s it. Thankfully, however, there´s a great LP store where I have purchased those albums I could find. (Graceland, Scaaty, Rhymin´ Simon, Live Rhymin´, Concert In The Park, S&G´s C.P.C and a few others. Granted, it´s not the same as owning the cds.)
I live in Varberg, a smaller town on the south-west coast of Sweden.

Let me tell you something Elin, if you ever need a cd of Paul´s and you cant´ get it, I have no problem sending it to you free of charge, and I mean that. ( As long as it is a realistic amount that is! :)
I think as fans of Paul, everyone should be entitled to his music, no matter where we are. I am sorry that there is all there is in your town.
If you ever need some thing, feel free to E-mail me okay?
The good thing is I live near a Tower Records that can order almost anything for you!
This is one of the reasons I Love this site. I love connecting with other Paul Simon fans, and I think the more we can help each other, the better.
