Over at "alt.music.paul.simon" we are trying to find the most popular PS song. You have to choose your favourite between various song pairings and we´ll gradually whittle them down to a single song. There´s only a few pairings on at the moment as I´m waiting to see how much interest there is before I post a long long list. So please get yourself over there and vote for your favourite. Thanks

I also wonder now what might be the english translation...
The German word is "Defillibrator" (double ´L´, sorry)

I always thought THIS is the english word, because normaly we take every word for new technical equipment from the english :-)

A ´Defillibrator´ is the device a doctor uses to re-animate someones heart with electrical shocks. What is the english word for it?

2 "l" or just one ? Anyway, it´s not when the heart has stopped totally that you use it but when its rythm is not good at all anymore (because in movies, they often pretend using it when the person is dead to take him back to life but normally, it is not at all used for that)

On every bigger airplane there is one of these machines...just in case that a passanger or one of the crew gets a heart attack.
