For the first time the tour-flops of the year were published. On top of the list are great names like Whitney Houston and Diana Ross. About 60 percent of the concerts 1991 were in deficit. Reasons are too high demands of the stars, higher costs for the events and the recession.

The most successful tours were those of veterans Paul Simon and Grateful Dead.
