Simon sez little, listens a lot

Composer and performer Paul Simon was back in Deep Ellum last weekend, where his love affair with wife Edie Brickell first took flight. In the early ´90s, he´d fly down to romance the lead singer of the Dallas band New Bohemians. Now a 40-year-old mother of three, Edie lives with Paul on a large estate on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic in Montauk, N.Y.

But when she and New Bohemians played Club Dada in Dallas last Friday night, Paul was there, quiet and unobtrusive, watching the show with their 13-year-old son, Adrian.
