Waiting for the new album, I think, it is a nice gap (and certainly more interesting than anything about Garfunkel) to send a TRUE Boulevard Story from 1976:

´Has Paul Simon decided to take detective work? One night a few weeks ago he heard suspicious sounds from the hallway outside his apartment. When he went outside he spotted a man with a gun running down the corridor. Most people would have gone to bed very fast, but not Paul Simon! He rushed outside, hailed a cap, and drove to a subway station where he found two policemen. In the morning the man Simon had seen was arrested, on charges of robbery, possession of a weapon and assault.´
