There is a very nice interview part from 1986 with Paul on this website.

People at KCRW had been sending Paul Simon cassette tapes of African bands and South African bands like Ladysmith Black Mambazo during the early 80’s.

Because of their connection with Simon, when he came to LA on the “Graceland” press tour, the only interview he gave to radio or to print media was on Morning Becomes Eclectic.

A part of that interview has been extracted from cassette, Paul talks about the South African musicians coming to New York City — their first plane flight and first time out of apartheid-era South Africa and getting the rock star treatment, including being picked up at JFK by a white limo with a white chauffeur.

Art Garfunkels voice seem to recover more and more as new concert dates appear now nearly every week. Now 3 concerts have been confirmed:

Aug 11: Williamstown - MA

Since 2010 Garfunkel is recovering from a vocal cord paresis, S&G had to cancel their tour trough Canada. It is not clear if another S&G tour will follow, Paul Simon said in a recent interview that it is a pitty but Art has lost some of his mid-range vocals and it does not look like as if they tour together as Simon and Garfunkel now. Let´s see...
