The picture upload at the Fans Database now works! It was my fault - I moved to a new server last week and there visitors didn´t have the right to upload anything. I didn´t check this the last few days and so no one could upload pictures. But now it works again. If you want to upload a picture of you (or you and Paul or a bandmember), then just go to your entry, click on UPDATE THIS ENTRY and you can upload a new picture. (don´t forget your pwd!)

Bad news from Switzerland

For 3 months, TSR (the Swiss TV) has begun to broadcast the concerts of the last Montreux Festival, each week, i waited impatiently for my TV guide, but no Paul Simon concert. So, last week, i sent an e.mail to TSR to know the date. They said they were sorry but Paul didn´t give his consent to broadcast his concert on TV.

NBA to Feature Paul Simon Song

Paul Simon new song, ´Father and Daughter,´ from ´The Wild Thornberrys Movie´ will be featured in public service announcements by the NBA.

The series of 60-second and 30-second spots will air starting Christmas Day.
Simon, Jason Kidd of the New Jersey Nets, Sue Bird of the Seattle Storm and Hall of Famers Willis Reed, Nate Archibald and Walt Frazier appear along with New York schoolchildren participating in the league´s Read to Achieve program, it was announced this week.

The first spot will air on ABC during the Christmas doubleheader featuring the Nets against Boston and the Los Angeles Lakers against Sacramento.

Yes - Paul has produced a videoclip for his new song. This is the first video since ´Bernadette´ in 1997, and Solomon from the USA was so nice to record it for us. It´s available here

[Father and daughter video]. A very nice video with a lot of scenes from the movie and animals. The voice singin ´forever´ is really Paul Simons young son Adrian. And some think that the little girl in the video is maybe his own daughter... could be true. - Does someone have a picture of his daughter?

Golden Globe nomination

Father and daughter is nominated for a Golden Globe in the categorie ´Best Original Song - Motion Picture´. Along with Paul the 4 other nominee´s are Madonna - Die another day, U2 - The hands that built america, Eminem - Lose yourself and Bryan Adams - ´Here I am´. So father and daughter is the only song which isn´t in the top charts. :) The cerenomy will take place on January 19th 2003. Keep your fingers crossed for Paul!!!
