So, if there will be some concerts, who will
fly from Europe to NY for 1 or 2 of these shows?

I think I´ll fly, if the tickets are not too expensive...I´m not sure if I would pay 300$ or more (and I know that Bob/Paul tickets 99 in NY had this price...)

The flight isn´t too expensive, around 400 Euros.
But I will not fly to Ny only for a concert..at least I will stay there for a week and connect my vacation with that concert.
(I´m still hoping they make a big free concert...would be much better, but I guess they also want a lot of money)

actually I wanted to fly over to spend my vacation there next summer..
so I hope that there will be some shows in july / august.

but I cannot afford to fly over two times in 6 month.

so hopefully there will be some gigs in Old europe.

If they don´t come to the UK I´ll be there. Might have to go over by sea though as I´ve got a phobia about flying! I´ve always said that this is the one thing that will get me in an aeroplane but I thought I was safe saying that as I never thought it would happen.

I will fly and want to stay a week or so. It would be my third concert in NY: I´ve been there for Paul´s Lifetime concert and for Paul&Bob (by the way: I got a ticket for 60$).
I´m afraid that it would be difficult to get tickets....

on July 27 1999 ?
I was at this show at MSG, got tickets for
54$, last row BEHIND the stage....

But during Paul´s part I stood up, walked outside the stadion around and found a good place to dance where no security guy was standing.

And I remember at the end a lot of people left the stadion, and then they played Born in Puert Rico. The stadion was only 2/3 full then and I jumped over some ´fences´ to come closer to the stage.

i was there. My place was not very good, in the middle of the area very high (in German: so was wie Oberrang). I didn´t try to come closer to the stage. 2 hours before the show I bought a binocular, so I could see what´s going on on stage. A concert in Puals hometown with New Yorker fans ist a great experience.

But I guess it needs around 1 week or?
There are faster ships (3 or 4 days I think), but I think they are more expensive then.
