Will play 8 times in his selfwritten Musical "The last ship", which started on Broadway end of September, but up to now only made losses.

Seems he follows his actual concert-partner...

Klausi Sting will be performing 8 times a week for five weeks in the show. Hopefully it will increase ticket sales. Coincidentally watching the video the ad that preceded it featured S and G singing "America".

so 40 shows in 35 days???

Definately horrible life :-(
Come one, that must be a joke or some wrong numbers. Can not imagine doing the same show 2 times a days

A lot of musicals have a heavy schedule, the performers need to have a top condition. Lead actors need to have a good back up performer in case something happens, illness or injury.

Thats right yes, well, I just thought that if I were Sting I wouldn do that. Maybe back in 1998 Paul thought the same ;-)

If Paul had been so desperate to sell tickets to The Capeman that he acted in it, perhaps Art could have played the Umbrella Man!!

Sting`s personal help for his Musical did not work. On January 24 "The last Ship" will have its last performance and sink.

Maybe as the Capeman the sad subject matter is the reason and especially musicals should have a happier background?

Sad songs in Pop-Music are no problem and sad books or movies/theater neither.
