| Carole King's oldest daughter, Louise Goffin, I think, was nicknamed Lulu as a child -- I wonder if this is where the daughter's name came from. It's quite uncommon.
I've never understood the song Hallelujah, or whatever the title is, by Leonard Cohen. Surely he didn't have his Bible verses that mixed up -- it's quite pretty, but does anyone understand the meaning of the lyrics? |

| Thought she was named for Paul's father and mother. Lulu Belle is her full name. Paul's father was known as Lou and died a few months before his daughter was born.Have heard Paul refer to her as Lu in radio interviews. Not too sure about Cohen's lyrics though Carol. love the song though. She did a pretty good job on it. |
