to be honest on my side, I don´t care a
lot for Paul´s later work, I liked
Graceland, You Can Call Me Al and not
much more. But there is always something good on an album that I like. It´s not because I don´t like
African type music because I do.
I didn´t like some of the One Trick
Pony songs either. Paul is always
writing and I know he can come up with something really great anytime,
I can´t think of any other song writer who can do that for me. |

| Cher, please stop these stupid personal attacks at Bodo. This site is mainly about Paul´s solo music, if you don´t like that please stay away.
We don´t hate Art over here we are just more Paul solo fans. I personally think Paul should stop with S&G but of course it´s his own decision. I like it that they are friends again but for me that doesn´t necessarily mean they should perform together. They sounded good in the early days but that is over now. I listened to the NO show at Dime at it sounded bad, even Paul sounded not good, his solo performance was better.
I hope Art recovers and that the concerts in July will sound better, if you ask so much money from your audience they should at least deliver quality, not only nostalgia and friendship.

There are a lot of people that Love S&G, there are some people who like Artis music more and there are some people who prefer Pauls Solo music. Can we just leave it that way and stay away from fruitless discussions because you think that somebody hates Art?
This is a wonderful site dedicated to Paul Simon and it should be not too surprising that there are a lot of people here, that like what Paul does and not only his work with Art.
By the way, Bodo does all his work here for free and spends a lot of work and money in keeping that site up. I think it is really unfair to attack him that way. |
