| RUBI DIJKEMAM:
Please stop flooding the quiz game with questions - even stupid questions.
Iīm in the position to bann you permanently from this site.
This is a lot of work to clean up the quiz tables, and I donīt have time to waste.
Before aksing questions please look if:
a) This question hasnīt been already asked (maybe in other words!)
b) Donīt make stupid spelling errors like īpreformedī
c) Watch out that your question has the same format than all other questions in the quiz (Questions start with an uppercase letter, answers too)
All other questions will be deleted.

| Sorry, your english is SO bad and you donīt take a 2nd look, I canīt correct all these questions!
You write things like
dit = did
preformed = performed
greastest = greatest
witch = which
Thatīs not readable and I donīt have the time to correct 50 questions. |

| Hi Bodo,
I find it funny that yourīre complaining about some peopleīs English here though yours is not much better. Iīve already read things on your page, mails that youīve been posting that made me really wonder what the hell you tried to say with that. And I guess Iīm not the only one. I seriously wonder how some English speaking person (American, English) can understand such things like sentences that end with an "or?" Thereīs nothing like that in the English language. Well anyway, I donīt find it alright that youīre complaining about other peopleīs English. Just because youīre hosting this page. Well maybe you make up your mind. Iīll be back soon. |

| Hello Raven
I know my English isnīt very good, but I try to do my best and I explained why Iīve erased the questions. It wasnīt the grammatic (he, I wouldnīt have found these errors for myself) - he wrote simple words like īdidī, īwhichī or īperformedī false and I donīt have the time to correct all these things.
I donīt complain about anyoneīs english if he writes in the forum but I want the quiz game to be playable for everyone - and that wasnīt possible with these questions. Also he made me angry because he included a few silly questions like īWhy do I play this quiz game?ī or īClick on the right answerī -> īRight Answerī.
BTW.: I once asked Julie (from England) to correct all my own questions in the quiz.
AND I didnīt complain about peopleīS (the S is important) English, I only wrote about one person ok? (take the or as an OK, ok - itīs sometimes hard to translate from one language into another because we always say īorī at the end of a sentence if we want to know another persons opinion, you say īok?ī I guess.
I hope you understood me this time better, maybe my first post wasnīt understandable. |

| BTW.:
Isnīt it strange that people from non-native English speaking countries have to run the most up to date English Paul Simon siteīs? [this site(german), the dreamer of music(spanish), the paul simon pages(dutch)] while the English speaking folkīs donīt run such a site?
Iīve made this site as interactive as possible - so others who speak better english could write the news or the biography...
but then I wait and see that only the non-native English persons post the news (like Ans, Nathalie, me, Jesse... (but their english is better than mine, itīs only a example!)
What do you think about that? |

| I fully agree with Bodo. Raven, he just does not want stupid and misspelled questions in his quiz-game. It is a very different thing if you post in a forum and have a spelling mistake in a post than in a question, because you can reread a post as often as youīd like to but not in the quiz-game...
and for omst of us are non-native-english-speakers it is acceptable.
(@ Bodo:
"or" at the end of a sentence really does not exist, and it is hard to understand for native speaker (I think itīs a question of getting used to it and guessing)) |

| Hi Jerry, yes the problem is that I(or all people in my surroundings) end nearly every question with īor?ī So I really forget about this thing very often.
Itīs like the "internet site" and "internet side" thing. In german we say "Internet Seite" - like a side of a book. So I very often made this small error (itīs only 1 character) and the native english speaking people didnīt know what I was talking about.
For me it was the exact translation of "Internet" and "Seite/Side" into english :-)

By the way Raven, there is a sentence in English that everybody understands: F.ck you!!! sorry, it makes me feel better...i donīt like this type of criticism: Bodo works hard on this site, he makes a wonderful work and this Raven comes here and says bullshits about him...eveybody is welcome on this site however his (her) abilities in English...iīm a good example: my English is bad but Nobody makes fun of me, even not Bodo... ;-)

And about English mistakes, well, I am really far from speaking and writting a perfect English (I was doing much better when I was studying that language at the university but it is a too long time ago now and my different stays in the States have spoiled my perfect English ;-) )but who cares that much as long as everybody can understand us (and that itīs not at all non sense like it was in the quizz) ?
We (and Bodo first) already make many efforts to communicate here in a language that is not ours because of the supremacy of the English language so, please, letīs all be more lenient ! Thanks ! |

| Yep, I saw that. I also have to say that I was very angry because I saw the īasfsdī questions of MATAN, then the question of Rubi. And he made so many questions, some good questions and I wanted to keep them - but then I saw all these errors and at least his few last questions..absolute senseless questions (and this brought me to the decission not to correct all the normal questions, also because he could have simply take himself half a minute more to check the wordīs... I think he simply wanted to flood the quiz with a lot of questions he could answer to be the top player of the quiz later, without checking if the question hasnīt been already asked or if the 4 possible answers are good) |

| Marieno, donīt be so hard ;-)
I can understand the criticism from Raven (and really, while I wrote the sentence īYour english is so bad..ī I thought: īmaybe someone will reply saying the same things about meī.. But there have been so many really obvious errors in these questions (and Raven, you couldnīt read them I know) that I didnīt want to edit them.
Especially because at the time I have a very very slow connection to my web-administration tool.
[A strange story, the site is blocked on my companyīs internet connection, so I use a special software and connect via SSH to a friendīs computer where the site isnīt blocked. In a 2nd step I have to use a software called VNC to see HIS computer screen on my PC, and so I surf on his PC(and on my screen) to my website-administration tool. Thatīs extreme slow, it took me 1 hour only to delete the questions!! ]
I think that Rubiīs English is also much better BTW. - but he simply didnīt take the time to correct the typos or check some words IMO.
