30 years of Cambridge Folk Festival Q - 1995

About a book with this title by Dave Laing and Richard Newman:

The first Cambridge Folk Festival took place in July 1965. The Clancy Brothers were there. So were Hedy West, Cyril Tawney, Stan Kelly, Bill Clifton and, his modest fee paid for by an advert in the festival programme, Paul Simon. His first single, I am a rock, was yet to bankroll his sports car fantasy and the artist budget of 1000,- pounds was already blown so CBS accommodated. The festival made a loss.-
