I first heard the sound of silence sung by a local group back in 1967 or 68. by the time i bought my first s&g record in the early seventies they had already split. never thought i'd be able to hear them singing live. then the old friends tour was announced and i was able to go to one of the concerts. now i'd love to go to a paul simon concert.
